Das Magazin: The Man Who Saved Vinyl

35 years after the CD officially killed vinyl record sales are higher than in 1990. RVinyl records have outbeat YouTube and Spotify in revenues for the music industry. Basically this is a 19th century technology winning against digitalization.
All this became possible only through the personal quest of one Swiss teenager who over two decades became the last man who knew how to keep those old machines running on which records are being made.
Here is my story about that guy from a remote little town in Switzerland who saved the vinyl record. For DAS MAGAZIN.
